CamCare International Dinner 2018

INTERNATIONAL DINNER AND SEMINAR, run by CamCare UK, is an event where people from various nations meet up and give a small presentation on popular topics about theirr country - while sharing food.

Cllr. Shrobona Bhattacharya, who co-ordinates the group, said, "Members are from different nations, they all come with a dish of their country of origin and we choose a popular topic on which everyone gives a small talk or shows videos or photos while sharing the food."

Doroteja Maklin, an innovation and business analyst, who is originally from Slovenia and now lives in Cambourne, and attended the International dinner, said, "It was the first time we attended International Dinner. Different countries were represented and a very interesting debate was had on the traditional ceremonies in their native countries throughout the evening.

"The International dinner is a great way to leverage Cambourne diversity and meet new people in the neighbourhood, share food and discuss similarities and differences between the countries we come from."
